Pure Force 3 Luton 05/07/2009

Lewis Bevan, Jamie Rayner and Darren Ambrose represented the Minotaur Gym on Sunday at the Pure Force 3 PRO-AM competition in Luton. Lewis Bevan was first up with only 6 months training had a good match with his opponent trying to smother and grab knee, Lewis let off a few hard rear hands but was unlucky to lose out. Jamie Rayner had a really tough fight against what appeared to be a heavier and more experienced opponent. He took a very heavy shot in the 1st round, but managed to dig deep and showed true heart by coming back and winning the fight. Darren Ambrose won his bout again against a heavier opponent, he struggled in the 1st round after being clipped with an elbow and took an eight count from a knee, but got up and went on to win the fight.
