The Minotaur Thai boxing gym was established in
1993 by Paul Taylor and Ralph Beale. Since this
date the gym has grown from strength to strength
producing in excess of 40 champions at all levels
and is now one of the most respected Thai boxing
gyms in the UK.The Minotaur Gym is affiliated with
the United Kingdom Muay Thai Federation, the World
Muay Thai Council and the International Federation
of Muay Thai Amateur. We are not affiliated with
any other UK Thai Boxing bodies as they are not
governed by any official sports body. The UKMF is
directed and recognised by the WMC who in turn is
governed by the Thailand government.
We firmly believe in teaching authentic Muay Thai and have set up professional facilities run by professional coaches to do this.
